I've searched over and over but have no definite answer on if stock valve covers can be "made" to fit. I know with my application they do not fit. I am currently running AFR165 heads, Cobra intake, 1.6 Scorpion rr's, and a clean painted set of stock fox vc's. What is needed to make them fit? Does anyone have any pics of the shaving they did?

You said you know on your application they dont fit but have you tried it? I used scorpion 1.6s' on gt40p heads and used stock valve covers.

We run Anderson Ford Motorsport dual breather covers (we run no pcv) with 1.6 Scorpion rockers. Although these will hit the classifieds as we are changing to stud mount TFS. The stock ones didn't fit (not tall enough).

I've seen some people use the rubber/cork hybrid gaskets and double them up to add clearance. It worked on my friend's Stang. No baffle work done. A thin coat of sealant between the gaskets to bond them, and slightly longer bolts. No leaks.
