Super Victor and then you can go with any of the cast style elbows Edelbrock does make a low profile version, Ive had to add a small carb spacer at times to get the throttle linkage to clear the valve cover. There are also a lot of sheetmetal elbows available.

A 4" cowl is a must....

since you are going turbo you can use drop moounts and not have to worry about sacrificing header clearance. Also, you could just make the TB forward or backwards, that might help

No throttle body, blow thru remember? :D

Thanks for the tips guys. The car has a 3" cowl on it now, probably gonna have to go bigger. Where do I get the drop mounts? Isn't there a specific year motor mount that came on the convertibles that acts as a drop mount?

Any experience using the Holcomb motorsports solid drop mounts?

dude your roller on CL ? i was peeking around unless someone stole your pictures?

Yeah, it sure is. We went over this on the previous page haha. Thanks for watching my back, but it is indeed for sale. Everything is for sale at all times for the right price. Sometimes everything is for sale for the wrong price too. Depends which way the wind blows.

If your going to build something like this, you might as well do it all right the first time. It will definitely be a bad ass notch :nice:

Thanks man! :D

Stupid update, but I got a pretty cool engine cradle from Roush-Yates. Not bad for $50 on ebay (powdercoated black and everything!) and I'll be able to bolt the transmission up to the motor with it on the stand and out of the car, then drop the whole thing in as one assembly. I'll probably even be able to bolt up the entire turbo kit as well on this stand.

Also took a crappy cell phone pic of the kit itself with Turbonetics wastegate and dump tube attached. It's going to be sandblasted, cleaned, and coated before install.

No problem at all man. I appreciate you keeping an eye out. I was sorry to hear about your calypso hatch getting wrecked but glad you and your girl made it out okay. There's always another car. Good luck finding a new one! :nice:

thanks man i appriciate it, i had to AUTOCORRECT you lol

I have a lead locally on a PA Pro Comp C4, recently freshened up, with converter, driveshaft, and shifter. The story is this was "Procharger's original test tranny" and that it is rated for 800 horsepower. What do you guys think about that trans for my application? I had a C4 behind my Terminator motor and I loved it. Think it'll hold up?

I have my heart set on a manual trans, but nothing beats an auto behind a turbo car. Not sure what to do on this one any more.
