Forced Induction How About A Vortech V3-si Trim On A 94 Cobra?

So when are you going to put it back on a dyno to see what she'll do now? I'm def going to invest in an MSD box because I have the same blow out at 15 psi.

There are other digital boxes on the market out there too. You might want to look at some of the competition first. I have an MSD Digital 6, and I am on my 4th one. MSD is not known for reliability. That's all I'm saying.

MSD was known for quality a few years ago. I bought an entire MSD kit, 6AL, Blaster Coil, Plug Wires back in 2005 and the original stuff is still going. Now days I would be skeptical since I've seen pics of their distributors breaking and leaving people stranded among other things. I saw a Yates/Roush digital box they use in their NASCAR on Summit for consumers, interesting.

MSD has been putting out crap for more than 5 years. I went through 3 MSD digital 6s in short time over 10 years ago. I remember people complaining about their Pro Billet distributors in the late 90s.

Nice! So far in my living room is sitting my injectors, MSD 6AL2, Walbro pump, new headlights, Anderson Powerpipe. The shop just called and said my wheels are finally in. The Vortech unit is likely on a truck somewhere...as is my new HR Springs. Like freaking Christmas!!!

system looks great man and the heads should help.

keep in mind that with less restriction (higher flowing heads/ larger tb/ larger exhaust) your boost numbers will drop slightly but the main thing to keep in mind is the units max efficiency. The whole idea is max efficiency so with heads just cause boost drops doesnt mean you can turn it back up the units rpm may be to high to see 14psi. A Meth kit could easily add 40hp to this setup along with reduced temps, detonation and in some causes fuel on the top end.

I'm planing on the same sort of setup on my fox but will be doing all the N/A stuff first then build a new motor to add the vortech on with a custom cam.
