Plasti Dip Wheels

my prostars are plasti dipped... and the rear wheels on the turbo car are now also
So it worked good on the prostars? That's what I was planning on doing. Did you just leave the lugnuts chrome? I was worried about tightening up the lug nuts and tearing the plasti dip off. Are you using center caps? If so did you plasti dip them?

the washers and lug nuts are still chrome... and no i dont run center caps.
i will get pictures tonight

As far as chrome lug nuts go, I paint mine with high temp black paint. After you tighten them up there are very few scratches and you won't really see them unless your looking really close. As little as wheels get taken off it's not that big of a deal to just touch them up when you rotate tires. This saves you spending a bunch on nice black lugs. I did this with my black FX4 twenty inch wheels on my F-150 and works great.

Did you use the header paint or just the 500degree paint?

I use plasti dip A LOT. Prep the surface with just 50/50 water and isopropyl alcohol in a spray bottle. Better to take your rims off the car, that way you don't have to mask the rotors and drum if you have it.
