New Arm Rests For 79?

Hi guys,

When I bought my 79 the arm rests were removed from the vehicle and I would like to get them reinstalled. I was wondering if these arm rests would work? I know they say 81 to 86 but they appear to have the same screw layout. If anyone knows please let me know.

Try MPS auto salvage. Not what you want to hear but maybe the best advice. The door panels changed in there somewhere so the latches were not by your ankles and I do not know if the arm rests changed too.

Ah cripes. That bites, they look like they'd work but I will explore the route that you mentioned. Thank you for the direction!
