Hey

Located in New Brunswick, Canada and looking for the closest supplier as
It's time my GT350 went back for a good sprucing up.
In an effort to avoid expensive shipping and Custom charges would like to pick up
my requirements in a manageable drive in the New England area ,
any assistance would be greatly appreciated

I have no idea what this thread is about... Anyone speak Canadian?
My sincere apologies Noobz347 if I posted in the wrong place. Obviously if you read the post you know exactly what I am look for and you could have just informed me the proper place to post such a request.
There was no need of your ignorant and perhaps arrogant response!

You don't even know what's going on man. That link above? That is to another staff member who also lives in Canada. He is who I know that is BEST able to help you with your questions.

That link calls his attention to this specific thread.

Sorry if you took it the wrong way.

Noobz is an enormous douche cannon....we call all agree on that.

Moving on....

Most of these places CJ Pony Parts, Late model Restoration, Summit Racing, etc all offer free shipping within the US-48. If picking it up in New England is what you want to do, have the items shipped to a UPS Store on that side of the border. nearest your crossing location.

Drive across and pick it up. You avoid paying inflated shipping charges to Canada and ridiculous brokerage rates. Spend a couple of days there and you'll get away without paying taxes as well.

Don't forget to fill your gas tank on that side of the border as well. As much as these guys whine about fuel prices, they've got it easy compared to as Canuks.

Just curious, what's the mustang scene and the "hotrod" scene in general like in Canada? Very many running around?

Some of the Fastest Mustangs of the OHV 5.0L scene came from North of the US border back in the day. Joe and Paul Dasilva used to rule the roost throughout most of the '90's. Both have since retired and run very successful speed shops outside the Greater Toronto region.

I know you guys think Canada is just one big iceberg city (Seems to be a general ignorant consensus of your population to anything not directly US related, really), but it's a pretty diverse nation. It would be like me assuming that all car shows/scene in the United State were similar to one and other. Anyone who's checked out the scene in Houston, Texas and compared it to one in Augusta, Maine knows that ain't the case. ;) As far as "Canada" goes, from what I've seen regarding the size and scope of the car scene here....it's like anywhere else. It depends on population and average income.

Here's one I'll be heading to this October in Port Elgin, Ontario. Population is only about 7,500, but they throw one hell of a car show every year.

What's a parka?

It's what your Italian neighbour does with his car when he get's home from work.
