Is it possible to replace my 2000 Mustang v6's steering wheel with a more vintage one? Perhaps a 1965 steering wheel.

What you ask would be difficult to do as vintage wheels tend to be much larger diameters (to make up for manual steering racks that were common) not to mention the wheel offset would make it difficult to use the turn signal stalk.

Of course, then there's the obvious issues of mating two different generation steering wheels, which seldom works.

Finally, making it look clean. Most Sn95's with aftermarket wheels never look right due to the trim not being ideal for most aftermarket wheels.

Also, as stated before, depending on the state it may not be legal, and would certainly hit vehicle value as most buyers would not overlook the missing airbag system
