Pretty cool! I’m going to stick with my original console, I want to see what they look like though. I wonder how many they had in stock before they went on sale.

Just got a notice this morning that mine has shipped!! I can't wait. With the awesome weather we have been having in NC, I took the fox to dinner with the wife last night and couldn't help but think how nice cup holders will be.

I think I will pass with the power of my mustang. There is no drink that is going to stay in that cup holder!:burnout: They are just not deep enough:chin. I will continue to rock a caped water bottle on the floor in the back seat!:):nice:

I’m happy with mine, but the texture in the pic and the overall look, looks like a nice quality piece. Still laughing at the post about wife giving you looks trying out the different cups. I can relate. My wife thinks I’m nuts too. It’s great to live in a place where we all can get so excited over cup holders. God bless America.

So threw it in the car to test fit with my favorite coffee. Even in the front cup holder I was able to shift. Of course the rear holder gave more room and probably safer if I slip off 2nd gear. I used the front holder for my cell phone.

Still in car if someone wants me to test fit anything else. About to practice painting the spare console I have and test fit for color match.

No test drive yet. Roads are still filled with puddles of salted water from last snow storm. More snow tomorrow.

"Pretend" shifting with that coffee in the rear holder....perfect

So I played around with it in the car a bit to actually do a bit of a review. I didn't take care for a drive due to it being winter and still salt/water out on the roads.

Overall appearance. Perfect. They got the texture really spot on so that looking around the interior, you really couldn't tell it was not a factory plastic panel. It really does look like an oem part barring your color matching skills.

Sturdiness? I've seen this bashed online s bit but to be honest it's no worse than the oem panel. Actually it's probably a bit more sturdy since the little clips along the edge are actually intact on this one. Screwed down in place...it's a pretty solid console with a few of the typical fox console squeaks.

The cupholder itself accoodates the variety of cups I've tried. The one particular cup of coffee I ALWAYS get fits perfect. Skinny cups may slide around a bit. It would be nice if the bottom was rubber to help stop that.

I also wish the cup holder was part of the console and not an insert. While it's snug in the console, I wish it was a rubber insert instead.

Cell phone holder? Probably won't use it. I usually run WAZE for speed traps, so I use a holder on the dash. Also since it's painted I'd be too paranoid about stuff sliding around and wearing on the paint.

Cons? No power port. I'm hesitant to say that's a con because it's so easy to add one anywhere. I'll prob add one under the console and just have my phone charger cord poke out. I don't drive the car long distances, so never really needed to charge it.

Some have said that the e brake seal should have already been installed, but I'm glad it wasn't since I installed the www.redlinegoods.com leather boot as you can see in the pics. (with matching shifter boot) So I'm glad it was not installed. It's not a big deal anyway. Melt the pins over with soldering iron and you are done.

Things I'd change? Mold them in correct color plastics instead. I know 30 years may lead to some fade, but perhaps it would match some cars.

I'd also maybe move the cup holders rearward 1" and make the holder molded as part of the console and add a rubber insert.

Be interesting to see how it would "wear" in a daily driver type car. Throw 20k miles on it and then review. Unfortunately that isn't my car. So this console will probably get the easy life of 100 miles a year.
