Finishing Touches On Sc V2 Install

I missed what throttle body size you have on the setup. Could a larger tb help keep boost from building up too high? What about the tb gasket itself? I’ve seen those sometimes even smaller than the bore of the tb.

65mm FMS - gasket looked clear from what I remember. Rest of info is below -

Yup my upper still seemed stock...either way I don’t think it would cause a huge restriction.

Pulley came in today so I’m heading to the dyno tomorrow afternoon and I’ll post results. Really hoping for 420-440rwhp at 10-12lbs
 
Anyone recommend any oil cap breather caps ? Tuner said first pull he did blew the dipstick out of the pan...said his breather caps won’t thread in for some reason.

They’re just stock valve covers...
 
Another update - cars making 12lbs at 5700rpm and 13.5 roughly at 6k.

We think we have a fuel regulator problem...40psi and it did not move at all under boost. Also swapped out the PMAS with an SCT and it seemed to help. We manually adjusted the fuel pressure to 50psi on the regulator and the car made 397rwhp and 420tq. He did throw a couple degrees of timing at it but said he wants to wait till we change the regulator to fine tune it.

AFR stayed around 11.7 - 11.8 on the final pull which was nice to see it not leaning out. Swapping regulator and he said he’s going to fine to tune it to a safe conservative 420ish rwhp
 
Another update - cars turning into a pita.
Tuner pulled plugs found 1 was cracked put it back on dyno and it made 472whp and 453 to but it was leaning out again. We switched to a 3.47 Pulley and made 445 and 444 but once again it was leaning out. He’s recommending a new line and hangers but I’m just going to get the car out of there for now.
 
I can post chart but AFR is around 12.3-12.5 @ 5900rpm

By all rights you should have been able to add fuel, ideally you want to stay around 80% max duty cycle. Now what was the MAF doing? What kind and size? What was the output voltage?
If the injectors still have room something was stopping the ecu from commanding more fuel, if the rails or lines were to small the duty cycle would go up with no change in fuel delivery.
 
MAF was a PMAS 95mm that was close to pegging out at 4.9 so we switched it to an SCT. He said when he’s trying to add fuel it’s not doing anything...said he tried to add a whack load of fuel at the top end but doesn’t change anything...still leans out.

He’s suggesting hanger, new lines and rails. It did not seem to lean out at 397hp but that was only running on 7 cyclinders.
 
Even on 7 cylinders you are still spraying the same amount of fuel.
I will let some of the more experienced guys chime in for now, I don't see the stock lines holding you back at your power level but there is always a chance I guess
 
I had a similar issue last summer. Was running a 320 lph pump, sn 95 fuel rails, 80 lb injectors, 3/8s feed line. Would lean out in boost no matter how much fuel i added. Turned out to be the fuel was cavitating, dropped in my old 255 lph fuel pump, solved the problem. The 340 lph is way too much pump for a a stock return line imo. Im thinking its a cavitation problem. Also with 340 lph pump a hot wire upgrade is always a good idea to insure the pump is getting proper voltage.

Thanks - that seems to be my problem...no matter how much fuel we try to add it keeps leaning out in boost.

Might be cheaper for me to just have them swap to a 255lph instead of running new lines
