2012 5.0 burning oil

I've got a 2012 5.0 with 18,500 miles, car has roush exhaust, sct tuner and driver/passenger side oil catch cans.Recently noticed a major cut in power and camshaft sensor came on a week later. checked my oil and it was EXTREMELY low. Did a full oil change and ran a compression test last night. came out healthy at 150 each cylinder. im guessing next step is leak down test? just looking for any suggestions or opinions. bought the car in July with 13k miles with all mods listed above.

I have heard of people experiencing unexpected oil loss (as in up to four quarts worth) with low mileage 5.0 engines, and then after the motor accumulates mileage and loosened up, the problem goes completely away. Thats what I have read, dont take it as gospel!

I am pretty new to the newest 5.0's and continue to research them in hopes that I will learn enough about them to get a 5.0 car. But right now the 5.0 has been giving me extreme doubts. Hopefully others here with more experience on new 5.0's can help. It seems like this forum has a VERY LOW PARTICIPATION RATE compared to all other forums I have ever visited.

So the mileage added does not stop this problem. I have 128000 on my 2012 gt and it uses oil like it’s going out of style. It’s blowby on a high compression engine which I am going to try Barr’s leak oil consumption additive to see if it helps and have stopped using pure synthetic oil for obvious reason. Hope this helps and oreads it is a problem on cars like the Hellcat too again a high compression engine

Why do you have a catch can on each side??

You should have filtered air coming into the crank case from one side and metered through PCV valve (with a catch can if you wish) on the side feeding blowby and crank case vapors to the intake manifold!!;)
