Build Thread My Never Ending 89 Notch Thread

Of course my car doesn’t have the newer style little crush supports where the bumper shocks are . So I should’ve been able to just bolt it up but the new light weight bumper support . It will have to be welded right to the radiator support instead . . Never easy . Lol

A little while back a thread was started on TOBT with a picture of this truck. They referenced seeing it on Stangnet and I was always curious who this truck belonged to, until now. Nice truck Jeff.

I just finished playing 6+ years of catch-up on your build and I have to say that yours is one of my favorite cars and definitely one of the best build threads I've followed. Thanks for providing so many pictures and all of the details, it definitely helps folks like me who are way behind you in our builds!

I can feel ya on the time/motivation thing. My coupe has now been in pieces for over two years, and it's starting to feel like all I do is dump money in a project that seems to never end. Hopefully you can keep motivated and get your car on the road...your progress helps motivate me to keep away plugging on mine. Thanks!

Every time i work on this thing it just try’s my patience . Swapped the front control arms out . Wheels are still forward , try a stock arm it doesn’t fit . It’s like I can’t tie up any loose ends to move forward with the project . Waiting on sharad who has been awesome with everything and helping me out fron day one on the suspension stuff .

I just want to get one part completed and move on down the line from front to back to finish and it just seems like it won’t happen

Those are cool, I was going to buy one until i realized it was built into the megasquirt. What size/ how many nozzles will you be running?
You can run the Holley one and use the ecu as well but i like the seperate system to be honest . I bought a complete stage 2 kit for 180 bucks from my friend . So with the controller I’m into it for 580 the kit is 7 new .

Gonna be a dual nozzle deal I think Freezy said 625s he wanted in it ideally

Nice! I am running a single 10GPH nozzle [not sure how that relates in terms of size ] and a pulse solenoid from prometh, after that it was just running a single wire from the MS to the solenoid and tuning the PWM% curve. I cobbled my system together with ebay bids but bought the solenoid new, I am in about 280 for the whole thing. I am happy with the performance out of it so far.

I’m excited to definitely give it a shot
