Progress Thread Hoopty v2.0 - Back in action!

New deadline - April 18th, car show near me.

I need to scramble some wood projects out to pay for some parts.
- Still need a clutch
- The calipers on the SN front brakes I got are trash, so those gotta go
- the wheel bearings are suspect, so those gotta go
- Still need all the small misc pieces for the brake system
- Need the axle housing brackets. @TexasFireman has them, but I gotta send him monies (hopefully this week)

I really want to just buy it all once, and RA has a termintor brake kit for $460. That's a big nut to crack, but it'd all get done at once.
I've got GT cores that would knock that down to $330.....

Now if you'll excuse me, I got work to do!

Wish I knew you needed the brake brackets, too. I also have those from the GT rear that's going in the '66. I won't be needing them since I'm going with the modified Fox-length brackets when the time comes.

Ah, I appreciate it but the ones TXFireman has are the cobra ones where I can run the 11.7" brakes in the rear. Because why not, haha

I went ahead and ordered the 93 Cobra PBB yesterday since they're getting rare as hen's teeth.

This weekend is going to be interesting. I had a heart procedure last week and am on restricted activity buuuut my wife is going out of town this weekend, leaving me all alone and unmonitored. May be a high chance I get started on a bunch of fox work.

The sn95 rod hole is straight out and not offset like a fox booster rod. They don't interchange. That looks like a cobra booster to me.

Only for 96-98. For 94-95 it’s curved like a fox.

SN95 boosters are metric threaded, and fox is SAE. Easiest way to tell other than the offset lug. It’s a cobra booster.

All the remand have that welded lug look. Heres my Ford racing booster reman out of an m-2300-k Kit. Same moves stud

Sitting in my thinking chair staring at 3 pairs of axles and can’t use a fkn one. I’m not mad at the fact there’s a 31 spline carrier in the car. I’m peeved that I finally got motivated to work on the car and immediately sat on my balls... figuratively speaking, of course.
Time for a beer.
