Good morning all, I just wanted to post a really good experience with a vendor I had and maybe it will help others.
I built a 347 for my 95 mustang and installed a Megasquirt MSPNP2 ECU, which I purchased from Dirty Dirty Racing.
That guy is a class act. He sold it to me back in November with him promising to give me support to get the car running.
I emailed him on Saturday to see if he was available. He promptly emailed me back and said he was fishing but to send him my tune for him to look through. I mean he stopped his weekend getaway to let me know so I wasn’t sitting around waiting.
On Monday he replied while I was at work and told me to download some software so he could remote login and help me.
So we did and the car is able to run somewhat now when it wasn’t before. He gave me some things to look for mechanically and told me to follow up with him once I get those things checked out. This is all why he was cooking dinner and with his family. He was on the phone with me over an hour. If anyone is looking into a Megasquirt I highly recommend Dirty Dirty Racing.

Very cool, good to know that a vendor is willing to offer support for a product sold. we have a very active megasquirt following here as well as a large amount of information, pop into the digital tuning forum if you ever get stuck and need a hand.

Hey i was actually going to look you up. I did a search and your name came up. I would like some clarification on something’s. You posted that you could explain some of the settings in simple terms for me to understand. I’m a PLC programmer by trade so I under pulses, signals, etc, but some of what they have in tuner studio doesn’t jive with me. If you have a website, or some good reference material I could look at I would appreciate it. Thanks again.

I have not put together anything besides what is on this forum.
I understand the settings difference, ladder logic and function blocks look quite a bit different but the pid loop gains ect. Will be familiar to you.
I myself am a instrument tech/controls by trade so we will speak the same language.

I’m going to start a new thread in the correct forum. Thanks for replying.

Willie is a pretty great dude. Awhile back I was having some issues when I was a bit newer to Binary Editor, and he fielded a half dozen phone calls, and emailed me tune adjustments. Then I found out it was his birthday and he was about to go out to dinner with his family. Definitely a stand up guy.

He didn’t have to help, but he did and was super cool about it. Wish I coulda bought his dinner that night lol.
