Hello all,

This is a rather simple/silly question but I'm not finding the answer anywhere else. What model U-Joints will work on the 05 Mustang 4.0?

I'm needing to order them to hopefully be in this weekend, but all the U-Joints on Amazon and Autozone say they won't fit. Autozone rep suggested it get them from the dealership, not planning on doing that.

I'd appreciate any advice!

Try NAPA, Advance Auto or RockAuto...

I noticed RockAuto had the 1310/1350 listed. I'll probably go with them since Autozone and Orilly neither have anything that will work. I'll check NAPA and Advance too. It's been a little frustrating to me that what I'd think is a very common part isn't so common in the normal places.

Thanks for your response. Hope the 1310/1350 is what I need. Was just hoping for word from some who knew what they've used before.

Well damn, I just ran that car through 4 of the parts houses I use daily at the shop and came up with 0 results but Rock Auto has one listed. That is weird
Bumper to Bumper - 0
AutoZone - 0
Advance Auto - 0
Orilley's - 0
Rock Auto - 1310/1350 Series $13.94

I was pretty sure I wasn't crazy... I assume that any 1310 should work, if that's the model that fits. But when viewing this same model number with my car selected on Amazon, it says it doesn't fit. Guess I'll go with what RockAuto just to be safe.

Your lucky there is only one choice listed. I need them for 90 fox man. and there is a few different listed.

I worked my way through college at an auto parts store (six year plan). Ford u-joints (especially the earlier years) can sometimes be a challenge. My best advice is to take the old one with you to match up if you have a second vehicle available. Happy hunting!

See if you can find a driveshaft shop somewhere near you. They would likely know exactly what you need. I know of driveshaft shops in Nashville TN and Miami FL. Hopefully you can find one near you.

For anyone that may be curious in the future, I came across this on a local Ford Dealerships service dept page. Part 4635 is labeled as a 1350. I ordered a Yukon 1350 with Zerk Fitting on Amazon. I'll update if this works if anyones looking in the future. It's been a bit of a hassle finding a definite answer.
