They're asking $5k, says over $12k invested. I won't lie, I'm not crazy about the interior - specifically the white accents.

I don't understand the white. Like, at all. It doesn't tie in with ANYTHING else on the car! So, to me, that means the interior would need to be totally redone again, which just makes it a running and driving shell - kinda like I already have since I've not had my interior done and have no headliner and no trim around any of the glass. Looks good from outside though. That and this coupe really isn't my style, so it would have to be totally redone anyway. New wheels would make a world of difference on the outside, but that white.......

I like that one and Iike the Cooper Cobras on it. Good color combo.
I'm in love with that one, I'd buy it, keep it stock, put a matte clear over the existing patina to preserve it, and show it at car shows as the 1 of 1 survivor it is.

Does that have a rocker moulding?? I don't think I've ever seen rocker mouldings on a II.....

Looks like it could be a decent project for someone though.
It could potentially be ElSuperPinto's replacement, but I've got an '86 GT roller in better shape to go look at first.

If any of you want to run the search that I use to build my posts for this thread yourselves, just paste this into your browser: https://www.autotempest.com/results?make=ford&model=mustang&zip=78753&minyear=1974&maxyear=1978

Slim pickings tonight, but here we go:

https://prescott.craigslist.org/cto/d/paulden-1977-mustang/7265120765.html Decent-looking coupe that already has the first mods any of us do. If there's not a lot of rust under that half-vinyl top it'd be a great project. I think the price is a little high, but we all know that negotiation is key with old cars.

https://orlando.craigslist.org/cto/d/orlando-1978-mustang-cobra-ii/7271727520.html That's one sexy Cobra, but the ad description being... questionable... makes me wonder what's really going on there.

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/cto/d/thousand-oaks-1974-ford-mustang-ii-obo/7263688780.html This is the same former exhibition car that's been out there awhile. If the price came down a little more, I'd consider it, but I'd feel bad when I started cutting it up to shoehorn in a V8 given its history.

https://redding.craigslist.org/cto/d/redding-pony-car/7266077926.html Now this is a damned survivor. Even in that ugly shade of green I love it. Mostly original too! I have no idea what the hell he means by "GT500 mini starter", but other than that, this one raises eyebrows, not questions.
