It’s a bad ass car buttttt no foxbody is worth that lol. Between now and the next 5-8 years it will be peak foxbody pricing as just like most of us they were the cars we grew up loving and couldn’t not afford to modify or buy the car we wanted in our teens-20s. Now that we are middle aged 35 and older lol we now have the money and can do the things we always wanted to.

If I had that sort of coin I would be parking a GT500 and a GT350R in my garage with some cash left over to buy an average Fox body.

But then again, like I was telling a friend of mine, if I won the lotto and had millions liquid burning a hole in my pocket, I would have been a bidder on that car.

But unfortunately I’m not that guy.

As crazy as I find it that someone paid 226k for it at auction, I find it equally crazy that someone paid 48k for it in ‘93. A loaded GT was what 15-16k at that time?

This is my thoughts. I'm looking at the white 1989 saleen vert on BaT. And it's already at 52k.

I talked to the wife and our next purchase might be a 18-19 GT350. They should hold their value, and it's something newer that I'd drive more often.

Actually was not $226k, was $231k, including BaT commission......

And yes, I do not know of a Fox that has publicly traded hands for more $ (off market private sales, who knows, as so many, especially Saleens, happen)
