I like the passenger seat curvature on those cars. Like a cockpit. At least you wont be buying tires anytime soon. They seem good. Just dont be stupid like me, and burn them up. They have become expensive

its pretty interesting for sure, definitely growing on me. Especially the red, i cant get enough of it! I sat in the car after i got home for about an hour after work today just looking at it LOL. Just kidding i was messing with the insane sound system it has trying to figure it out, which i had no idea it even had at first, pics incoming.
And a couple pics of the custom spare tire sub box, im not huge into it but clearly alot of work was done to make it fit and work. I tested it and can confirm even though it was probably done 12-14 years ago or more from my local audio shop, its WAY too loud! Looks like they fiberglassed it and all.. original owner said it costed 3k$ at the time.. anyway this is it nothin fancy but:

Hey guys i want to get to work on these rims when i get some time and am having a hard time finding the center-caps that match.. if anyone could help me out finding them online to order that would be awesome! Heres a pic of the front and back, they are different it. The back is longer (sticks out more)

Thanks this seemed to work, although i so far only found the weld brand ones and jegs, maybe I’ll throw the weld caps on if they will work even though thats cheating

Know anyone working at a dealership, chances are they know a decent lot lizzard that can make it look almost new pretty cheap.
Does anyone know if these rims are clear-coated or how to know for sure? I started on one with some mothers mag aluminum polish and it turns black so im assuming its bare aluminum, but having no luck polishing
Go to home depot in the cleaning area and they have a bristle brush that goes on a drill. Use lots of that stuff aand work it like crazy. Wipe them good and they should look new. Iv done it on a few sets that looked totally pitted and they look new. If the black stuff comes off then they will clean up
Mothers mag polish is great for the final polish.... You need something stronger at first... There is a brand ( can't remember the name) that comes as a precoated wipe.. Tear a little bit off and work the aluminum with it.... Using some flour helps take off the black residue......
I have used the finest steel wool on heavily oxidized aluminum... 4 odd we used to call it??

Hagerity has it at "about" $8400. Just a guide, they don't buy em. I'd start at 7 and go where you want.
I tried the steel wool 0000 and it takes the minor pitting that i have going on right out, but unfortunately dulls it quite a but more like a brushed like finish and even with the mothers polish on a drill polisher (its called mothers cone polisher) and it still wont bring it back to that shine that it was before the steel wool.. i just tried it in a small test spot and am having no luck.. polished rims are a PITA
Your rubbing too hard.... Let the polish do the work...... ONLY use the steel wool at the first pass to get the main oxidation off..... You might try some paint polish to take out the scratches..... Polishing an uncoated aluminium wheel is similar to cutting and buffing a paint job. It takes many passes with finer and finer compound, paint starts with sand paper, I was taught to use finer and finer sand paper in opposing directions then the same with rubbing/polishing compounds, of course there is a finer selection of paper and compound now.
If the wheels are coated then it's a different ball game.

Update: Finally got some time to sit there and experiment and figure out what actually would work. I tried a buffer on a grinder with rouge first and it did absolutely nothing which i found to be quite crazy, then i tried that #0000 steel wool again but this time used polish on the steel wool and polished that way, which i didnt think to try before and let me tell you it works wonders! Its very quick and easy too, im pretty amazed. Although i did have more pitting than what appeared to be, so i took a long time to sand it with 2000grit and then polished with the wool and then finished by polishing with the foam polisher cone on my impact drill. They are not 100% perfect since some of the pits are in weird spots hard to sand, and i should have probably started at a courser grit but i dont have unlimited time, and this way gave me results im happy with, and only took about 3-4 hours. Anyways here they are with my new center caps and all!
