MAC Catback Problems

I have a MAC 2.5 inch Cat back system on my car and i love the sound it makes and i love the quality of the system but i just have one problem. Where the exhaust loops over the rear end it beats against the frame and causes an annoying rattle. Has anybody else had this problem and how did you fix it, I'm prob just gonna put a piece of rubber between them (heat resistant of course) but would like some opinions. Thanks for your help guys

Well I had the same problem but it wasnt my exhaust. It was the cables coming off the E-brake bracket rubbing against my driveline everytime i hit a bump it would rub or if i step on the gas hard the torque on the driveline would make it rub against the cable. Do you know for sure its the exhaust?

i have Mac and had the same problem. What I did was take the connector where it bolts to the Hpipe loose. Then you can turn the catback until its further from the frame. When you get it where you want it then tighten the connector down again.

Same problem here. After my X-pipe and header install my MAC catback was rubbing on the inside of the rear tires. Well, I put it on a lift and carefully adjusted everything until I had about 2" of clearance from the tires and spent quite a bit of time lining the tailpipes up. I was all proud of myself until I heard the rattling on the way home from the pipes hitting the chassis :notnice:  . Guess it's time to climb back under 'er...
