alot of people told me I had a factory freak because I ran a 14.4 bone stock. with out the gears and the suspension I ran a 14.5 with a 2.7 60'. if I could get it down to the 1.9 or 2.0 should be in the 13's with just pullies, intake, and exhaust.

Factory freak at 14.4?
I didn't think my car was -that- fast and I ran a 13.7 with just C&L MAF. :p
No one told me I had a freak :(

LS1 ken neva looose

I have a mud story about my car but it certainly doesn't make it a freak cuz my time below shows that it may be a freak but I sure can't drive it for crap @ the track. But on the street that's a different story. Another of which I will not post simply cuz I don't want any flags.

I agree with 01MUSTANG that the GT's will hang with the LS1's only from 1-2 shift and it is usually over by third and that is when the LS1 will pull hard, unless the GT has the same power, and both the auto and 6 speed come with the same gear ratio.

If you have a 6 speed transmission you have a 3.42 rear end, that's the only ratio available. If you have the automatic transmission there are two available ratios, 2.73 and 3.23. You can tell which one you have by looking at the codes inside the driver's door. Code GU2 means you have 2.73s, code GU5 means you have 3.23s. With the 3.42s & 3.23s you also get an aluminum driveshaft, with the 2.73s you get a steel one.

My bad REDZ28 I thought they came with the same ratio...

UA2k1GT Nice car have you ever dynoed it? your car truly is a freak...but then again you must be a hell of a driver...
