I have JBA's on my car and I like em. After seeing what my buddy had to go through to get his LT's in I'll stick with my shortys. we have about the same mods when his N2o is turned off and we still run very even.
so has anybody seen the gains from the bbk shortys? i was pretty sold on the jba shortys. but i would like to see if the bbks would be a beter option. depends on what they are made of and how they would hold up. I want to put them on and never have to worry about them again.
A good 4-5 hours. I jacked up the car and jacked up the motor a little took out the dipstick, steering linkage and the starter and then just used a long extention and patients. Getting to the bolts was the hardest part. Harder than installing valve covers. We got to some of the bolts from the top and some from under the car.
Those fenderwells are so damn close to where the bolts go in especially right by the strut tower it makes it one hell of a job. It would help a little if you got it lifted, but it still wont be easy
Mine actually took away that flowmaster drone and made wot sound very screamin'. Idle is nothing different. My friend W/LT's is way louder at idle. Over all I like the way mine sounds better, but I'm sure he'll disagree with me on that.
