can someone tell me where to find the tsb or can someone post it on this forum word for word.thanks

Give me your E-mail address I'll send it to ya!

Also , I just got my car back today . The dealer had my car for 6 days . The TSB said labor is 5.6hrs .....slow bastards!

I really didnt push the time issue because I just wanted it done and done right .

I have to say after driving the car , doing 1-2 shifts at many different rpm intervals including high RPM shifts and downshifting , The car does shift very well , no grinding or notchiness at all and it feels good . The car was warmed up as they had just finished their road test so we'll see how she shifts in the morning on a "cold" run .

so far so good , FORD may have redeemed themselves.....a little .

:nice: :flag:

I ordered my lower shift boot (brass plate with rubber boot) or at least I thought I did so I could put on my stock shifter. So they said it was in and I made an appointment at a different dealer for the TSB just to be safe. So I go to pick up my part and its the wrong part. I had to cancel my appointment for tomorrow and order my part online. All exctied for nothing!

PLEASE HELP ASAP, the dealer WILL NOT hook me up with this TSB, the problem isnt all the time, it just happens sometimes and most of the time it doesn't, but it almost got me killed the other day going on to the freeway when I pulled out into traffic I should have waited on (but the car had been running fine for a while) normaly I would have been at/over the speed of traffic in mere seconds, but I couldnt get it into 3rd, then it wouldnt go back into 2nd (where I would have at least got to 70 and been safe) finally I just put it in 4th and bog for a second and catch up.
Any how I have an appointment with the service manager and need some tips to get him to put this stuff in (hes the one that has driven it the 3 times I brought it in (first 2 times were pre-TSB). Also trying to get a loaner car out of them since they had my car for a week and didn't do anything except nerf my computer.
Any tips would be great, I'm not used to dealer policy/negotiation

TSB 04-15-06 INFORMATION

Well, now that I know I have the Tremec 3650, does anyone have an actual copy of it? I've tried alldata.com, tremec.com, and ford.com and can't find any information on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I took my car into ford, now that i know theres a tsb, i have taken the car in serveral times, and nothing was done, cept the fluid change and the cluth level moved. Im still getting that they cant duplicate the problem, and it must be the way im driving the car. This is such bull****. I am so sick and tired of it. Now that theres an actual fix, im still lied too.

i know this might be risky on the owners part. But the dealer denies of any type of tranny problem i say go out one night driving the car and slam the hell out of those synchros. That should make the problem worse and ford maybe able to duplicate the problem then. Again it's risky. On the side note, take it to another dealer :)
