I just took a ride now..... it took a long time to crank to start..... when i first got on it, it pulled nice and hard with no problems.... driving it a bit longer made the problems happen... i wonder if its tooo rich? i guess ill find out tomorrow. Also, if i were to drive it half throttle, it will go all the way up to redline real smoth... as soon as i give it more gas, it will bogg... what does that tell ya??..

to look at this on the bright side, my new mufflers are absolutely insane sooo i will deffinately video this dynorun

Wait till the dyno tune and see... my guess is still ign, unless the people that installed the fuel pump mucked up somehow or cranked up your fuel pressure without telling you?? I can not see how going to a little extra needed fuel [it was lean on the dyno...] suddenly makes the car bog out.. you're on the edge with the 24s and your setup anyways, so going from a smaller pump to a 255 isn't going to create a suddenly insane rich condition by itself to the point where the car is cutting out....

I say ignition related because..... on my old T Type, when the coil pack started to poop out, it did the samething... 3-5 PSI and half throttle was doable, 18 PSI and WOT and it was making pop corn and cutting out...

Whatever it is, hope its nothing serious. let us know.

they will deffinately be able to pinpoint it right from the dyno???? now even part throttle will mess up too... i changed my plugs now and i saw that one of the wires was cut opena nd exposed.... me, as excited as i was thinkin i found the problem, replaced it, and its still bad

about me pushing the limits with my injectors.... arent he stock ones rated to 300??? 24's would only make me be able to go 30 more???

What all do you have on the car for ignition.. as in coil etc?

As for the 24s, I dunno, I have heard 20 different things as far as how much HP they are capable of. Honestly I just looked at the fact you were running 9 PSI already, and firgured that if there is any more serious airflow in there [nice heads or 3-4 more PSI], you might want 30s.. but then you'd have to have a re burn for the ECM?

But then I was doing what was generally said to be a bad idea when i had my Buick... it was running 12.1s and 23 PSI of boost on the stock 28 LB injectors.. but they were working hard for their money

Was your stock coil in good working order when you upgraded? If you still have it swap it and see if it goes away...

What are your plugs gapped at?

plugs are gapped at .035.. I will be leaving in a little bit to go to the dyno.. I will deffinately bring my AAA card because my problems get worse and worse as i drive it... well see what happens.. i will deffinately update this and get a video of the dynoruns...

thanks

it turns out that i couldnt get more fuel pressure then 35! they had to shut down the dyno early because it leaned out really bad...... it would not hold pressure at all after it is primed..... i pulled downt he tank and noticed that the pressure hose was missing a clamp and that was my problem.... put it back on and it runs great! well.. there is always a catch when you talk to me.... i fileld the gas tank up and the gas wouldnt go in and was pouring all over the ground... its comin from the filler hole to the filler..... this local shop is tryin to tell me the tank is cracked which is leaking the gas and i need a new tank.. im not to sure if i buy that, but anything is possible

Well now that I read your reply again. Let me ask a question.

Is the gas comming from the top where put the nozzle in. Or is the gas comming from where the fill tube goes into the tank?

If its from where the fill tube goes into the tank, then read my reply above about the gromet.:)

About your car having problems after the pump install.. My car was having these same problems and i couldn't figure it out. I finally traced it down to being my pump. Turns out the excess pressure, blew the feed hose right off the pump but it was still on, just not fastened securely. Anyways after I fixed it all was good!

To see if this is your problem, start the car, and pinch your fuel return line. It would be the smaller of the 2 hoses coming off the fuel rail. When you pinch the return line, your fuel pressure should go up. If it does not, then there is a leak in the system. I hope that helps. It bugged the heck out me when I had that problem.
