Help me lower my clutch pedal before I sell my car :(

I've had enough of me grinding the shifts and everything. I have a BBK adjustable clutch cable and quadrant. I'm going to replace that whole setup with a steeda adjustable cable, firewall adjuster and quadrant.

1. What are the Double/Triple hook quadrants for???
2. What does the quick release do exactly??
3. How do I lower my clutch pedal like cars with hydraulic clutch pedals??

The clutch pedal is a good 2 inches higher than my brake pedal. I want it lower to the floorboard. You have about 1"-1.5" when the clutch begins to grab and when its fully engaged. It really makes me not even want to drive my car fast, its really embarassing grinding almost every third gear shift i try to do.

1. Got transmission rebuilt cuz the shift fork broke
2. Transmission guy said synchros and gears looked real good
3. Put in a fidanza Aluminum flywheel and Spec Stage 1 Clutch

Help me out before I sell this pile of ****. I can drive pretty good for the most part, can power shift my dads vette and everything, with no problems and could drive my other car really well.

I dont really have any way to bend the clutch pedal, but that would be a good idea. I saw what the steeda clutch pedal stop looks like and understand how it works. Really simple, just took a picture to get it to click lol. Im gonna try and make one today :)

Can anyone answer those other questions I had though?

Sound like you need a firewall adjuster as your clutch is releasing low. I would look at the kit from UPR. It has 3 screws to hold it on the firewall all the other kits I have seen have one. You can lock it in place with a set screw or jam nut once you get it adjusted right. I wold not recoment the one I have and I will be replacing it with the UPR kit soon it seems to be the best one.

UPR looks like they make some good stuff. I've been on their site a couple times. I might just have to see what I can come up with as far as a new setup. I think I will get all UPR stuff. New cable, quad, firewall adjuster, and one of those pedal height kits. Can you guys find one for me?

Thanks alot

MM makes pedal height adjusters. http://maximummotorsports.com/CL-7.asp

MM clutch pedal adjuster did the trick for us. Spend the $20 bucks, 20 minutes installing and keep the car! This will positively solve your clutch pedal height problems. We had the exact same problem on my wife's 01 after getting a new KC clutch installed, along with steeda quad, firewall adjuster and adjustable cable.
By the way, there is hardly ANY difference between the dbl pickup and the steep ramp quad - got both, held them back to back...tiny difference in 'steepness' of the ramp - don't bother. All you need is a decent quad.
If I were you, before spending anymore money on anything else, get the MM clutch pedal adjuster.

Totally agree, if you're about to sell the car, don't waste money on a quadrant, firewall adjuster or aftermarket cable. I couldn't be happier with the clutch I have right now, feels perfect.
