Other than Mustangs Plus, anyone know where I can get a set of these plugs that block off the EGR? passage in cylinder heads? I just realized my aftermarket heads have a chamber that needs to be blocked off. Thanks. Oh, by the way, M+ charges $15 for 4 of these, no problem, but they want $36 for shipping to me in Hawaii, I don't get it, unless they are going to put it in a shoe box and put a big rock in there too.

I have seen those before but for the life of me I just cannot recall where it was that I saw them. Maybe you can call Jegs or Summit and see if either of them stock this plug and can ship to you in a more cost effective manner. In the alternative, maybe you can get a CA based member to buy them for you from M+ and ship them priority mail to you in HI and you send him or her a check. If I were a CA based member, I would offer to do it for you but I am not in the position to be able to help you.

Since this plug is for 1981 - 1995 mustangs (according to the M+ site), you might get a better answer at either the 5.0 or 4.6 forums.

If you don't need the internal threads for attaching brackets, you can probably use a plug from a hardware store. That's what I used on my aftermarket heads at the back of the engine (against the firewall). My heads only came with 2 of the ones you pictured, so I had the same delimna. I believe that the thread is a 9/16-11 or a 5/8-10. $0.75 at Ace hardware or Lowes.
Good luck.

Ford sells em. Just go to your local dealer.

And the threads iin the plug are nice, cuz if you install em while the heads are on the car, you have little clearance to use the slots dur to how close you are to the firewall. Just stick a bolt in em and use the hex head.

Ford's price is around $2.
