'04 w/o Mach audio - tweeter spot useable?

Dumb question maybe. I have an '04 Coupe without the Mach audio. The car has the triangular spots up by the windows where the Mach audio cars have the tweeters, but with a solid plastic front. Is this useable space if I buy the speaker grilles and want to put tweeters in that space? And is that location and its plastic cover the same size as the speaker grilles for the Mach system?

It is not useable for the mach tweets they are too big, and the door panel fits a little different if i remember, I tried to install the speaker pods in a non mach car and it would not work, but if you get a small tweeter you can mount it right in the plastic and it will work just fine, good luck Dan
