Has anyone done any 1/4 mile runs and measured them with a GTech. I did one today and ran a 14.1 @ 105.6 mph. It was done on a public road and under less than ideal conditions- but was good enough for the first run on the car :D

The car is stock except for the Jet Chip and HC trap removal- any idea how that compares with what others are running?

Thanks,
Dan

PS I really suck at launching the car and think I can shave 2 or 3 /10s or so off my time and get into the 13s

I have a G-tech Pro and it wont sinc up with the rpm's, it just jumps around erradicaly and will never match the cars rpm guage. Oh and the power cord, or the power connection point on the back of the g-tech is shorting out. I don't get it, this thing has not been used for about 5 months. It worked fine before I got the stang. Any body have any suggestions?

Did you follow the procedure for showing the Gtech your 2k and 4k reference points?

Well I set it up Like I usually do, It will say rev eng to 3000 rpm and while its at 3000rpm I will hit the ok button, same way with the 4000rpm calibration. I have not read the manual for a while but this is tha way I remember doing it. I have one question though, does it hurt the eng to rev it up to 4000 rpm when their is no load on it for example when the tranny is in nuetral? I always set the higher calibration for a lower rpm setting and maybe that is why it is screwing up.

Based on this months Hot Rod: You have to enter the vehicles redline, and then the meter asks you for 2k and then 4k.

I don't know. I would just start from scratch again. What did you enter for the redline?
