Twin Turbo or Spercharger

I've heard a number of 1000+ rwhp on TT 4.6L engines but anytime you cross the 400 rwhp on a stock 2v you NEED to get forged internals, atleast from everyone I've spoken to. I haven't actually thrown a rod myself and you could just wait until it goes but then it might cost even more. Most TT kits cost a bit more than superchargers. Superchargers can put out very decent numbers at a good price.

I was just wondering what would put up more horsepower, a twin turbo or a supercharger for 00 Mustang GT?
if you can't get the power to the ground it really wont matter. both are capable of making stupid amounts of power. There are TT setups with over 1000rwhp. I don't know how much street driving gets done. Some have a SC and 600+ hp in a daily driver with not problems. For the average person, even with parasitic drag, a SC is the way to go. Turbos are cool but will cost at least half again as much or double.

Turbo's are definetley better, you can have 600+ hp and still drive around on the street, and when the turbo's spool up you'll take off, for the price of a supercharger kit, it is worth it to get a TT, plus turbo's will make more hp since they run off the exhaust heat and not the crank, they are also much more efficient

The TT kit from HP is only a little more then the 1.7kb and it comes with an H pipe, all the front suspension, and the headers. That right there is at least 1000-1500 alone installed.

Installed at mph, the entire kit runs 7200, an don a safe tune you can run 400-450 as your daily driver, and later if you'd like build your internals and block then raise it up to 600 or so hp no problem.

TT is DEF way more flexible and pretty much the same price, with the option to get faster :)

Id rather spend the couple more grand and not spend it on an H, headers, front suspension and the limited 1.7kb kit.
