What dreaded vibration? If the gears are installed properly, and the wheels are balanced correctly, and the driveshaft is balanced or indexed properly, there shouldn't be any vibration.

there won't be a vibration, but you'll save weight as an aluminum driveshaft has less weight. :nice:

I have vibration above 70mph, but it's not from the gears, it's done it with both my 4.10's and 4.56's...It's not the pinion angle, and I have an aluminum driveshaft, it's not my axles as they are new...I've never indexed my driveshaft so that may be it...some cars have it, some cars don't...

If you just changed gears and that's it and now theres vibration, I would guess that the gear install wasn't done with the proper backlash...

You shouldn't get any vibrations from a gear swap if done right. You will get one if somebody doesn't know what they are doing and just throw them in. You have to have a dial to check the back lash on the ring and the pinion. They can only be installed one way. If not, they will rub and you will have a problem. My aluminum driveshaft didn't do anything for my car as fas as going to the track, so I took it off, what a waste, good thing I bought it when they were 169 bucks.

my car when i bought it stock vibrated at about 85 mph and it still does today with my aluminum ds and 410s. so no difference and no biggy although it is not "speed inspiring" lol to vibrate as you go past 85, oh well, i dont feel it past 100 anyway

My driveline had a bad vibration, around 90, after swapping gears. luckily a friend of mine had a custom aluminum driveshaft laying around from his 96. $40 can't beat that. The vibrations went away, until 120 or so than the car felt like it was going to explode. Turned the driveshaft 3 times, and no more vibrations. It can make a huge difference if you don't have the shaft right.
