I have the P-zero Neros...I like them allot. They were great on the autoxcourse compared to the stock goodyears. For drag racing..they arnt the best. But wet and try handling they are very good. As for wear, I've had mine for about 14,000 and they have about another 5-6000 in them.

am i the only one whos nittos suck (555r). im not really sure how they compare to the stock ones (Bought it with 18in saleens wrapped in nittos) but they cant hold at a punch 15mph or under, nor a 2k launch on a 01 4.6:nonono:. Granted they are pretty worn and are ran at 40 psi, but arent they supposed to hook better?

No, your not the only one. I don't think they suck, I know they suck. That is unless you have the opportunity to do a 10sec burnout everytime you call upon them to do what you bought them for. Basically, no heat - no stick. You get what you pay has been my experience. The best two all around street tires I have had were the Goodyear F1 Eagle like came out on the 03 Cobras (1.90's 60' for me), and my current BFG KDW's. I liked them both. My next drag radial will definately be a BFG brand, mainly to stick with same brand...ET's are great too.

Always been a Goodyear guy, but damn if I haven't seen that BFG just makes a damn good tire...at least the styles I have bought. I have also had several sets of the All-Terrains and the Mud-Terrains on my 4 X 4's, and mileage, traction, and looks are fantastic. The AT's seem to spin pretty easy in the rain though.

Ive got the Nitto555 DRs right now. I run 19 lbs at the track and 32 on the street and they have worn really evenly and I am pleased.

Its going to be time for me to replace them soon. I bought them in may and they have seen 5 or 6 trips to dragway.

Anyone have any comparisons as to how long the BFG's last in comparison to the Nittos?

I hear they are softer and I was just curious to see if the increased traction was worth the tradeoff of them possibly not lasting as long.

i have Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 275/40/YR17, they are by far the best tyres i have ever driven on. the only drawback is the $300 a tire price tag. the treadware rating is 400, and im expecting to get about 25,000 miles out of them. they will be seeing a fair amount of track use as well. when these wear out, ill replace them or else put Michelin Pilot Sport Cups for track tyres and get 98 Cobra wheels with 255 Pilot Sport A/S's for street tyres. my only problem is that i have 2000 Cobra R brakes in the front, so i have to find wheels that fit. right now im using the Maximum Motorsports Konig Villian 17x9 wheels.

My Nitto 555 Extremes have served me well on the street for the last 2 1/2 years. They've worn well for me--probably because I rotate every 5-10K and don't do a lot of burnouts with them. Their dry traction is far superior to the factory Goodyears. I would buy them again.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone had experience with the Firestone Wide Ovals?

I like my GS-D3's in 245/45/17. Good dry traction, amazing wet/damp traction.
