00 gt blew water out of tail pipes?

Condensation probably. Leaky headgasket would probably be blowing white smoke (coolant burning,) and soon thereafter if not already, you'd probably overheat.

not to go against the grain here, but there is a possibility that its comin from the coolant line that goes into the throttle body. On my old fox, i had a problem where water would visibly spit water out the exhaust pipes, come to find out the throttle body gasket wasent seated right and coolant was getting into the intake.

Good guess for a 5.0L, but he's got an '00 GT. There's no EGR spacer to leak by on a 4.6L.....nor is their coolant gong to that particular area of the intake system.

no cats. The motor is forged heads are ported and it is blown and intercooled. I am worried because it was alot of water. When I reved the car it put two streaks of water out the back. The streaks were about 2 feet long and 8 inches wide. So we are talking like a cup of water. Any other ideas?

I was told by a performance dude that the head gaskets on these cars almost never go. Do you think it could be an intake gasket? I am not really sure where the water runs in the block so its hard to tell where and if its leaking. Anyone have a schematic (diagram)of the 00 gt motor?

If it's not sweet, it's not antifreeze. Have you been monitoring your coolant levels? Have they been going down at all? I’m with the rest on the condensation thing, but if it’s really getting to you, take it in and have the cylinders pressure tested to be sure.

The '00 GT's were bad for having the coolant crossover in the lower intake cracking. (The section where your thermostat goes) but when they go, they don't pump water into your engine, it kinda just makes a mess of your engine bay. And your buddy is right; head gasket problems with a modular engine are nearly non-existent. Intake gaskets almost never go either. They're plastic with a silicone O-ring style bead around each port. If they went, you'd have a puddle in the engine galley below the manifold. How is it....dry as a bone?

yea its all dry. I just had it rebuilt because I melted the rings before. And the car has been running poorly ever since the rebuild. It surges when I rev. Yesterday I took off the supercharger pipe from the intake and put a cold air kit on there. When I started the car the surging was gone. So I have an issue with my blower or intercooler. But after I did this I went behind the car and found the water. My friends car did the exact same thing with the water last week. His 99 blew the same amount of water three times. He has the same set up as me and it was built by the same guy. What could have happened? Both engines have less than 200 miles on them. And have never seen any boost because they are not dynoed yet.
