KENNEBELL SUPERCHARGER 05 GT

it may last for a while, but think about this. do you have the money for a forged bottom end now? will you have it when it lets go and its time for a rebuild? with so many motors throwing rods, it seems as if it is inevitable. i am not trying to scare anyone, or say that they it is not possible to put a supercharger on a new 3V without problems. i am saying that many people have found out the hard way that the stock rods just dont last. some have lasted for months, and some went on the first run at the track.

BOTTOM LINE: get forged the internals as soon as possible to reduce the risk of failures.

(many have let go even with NO signs of detonation)

Kennebell Update:

This got to me fast I can't believe it...I ordered the Kennebell kit through a local vender on 16th of March and It was deliverd to my local shop yesterday April 3rd. Now it's probably because I live close to Kennebell's hub in Rancho Cucamonga, CA about an hour away.

I dropped off my car at the local shop today and it should be ready for pick up either Thursday or Friday of this week. Once a year at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA we have a huge Ford show with about 2,200 entries of all makes of Ford's from the very first year of Ford to the most current year 2006. I have entered my 2005 GT and I should be the only 05 with this set up at the show (I think)? My local shop is doing me a favor and putting this in for me this week just so I can make it to the show with the Kennebell supercharger installed.

I can't wait...my shop is also going to put my car on the chassis dyno to see what kind of numbers I will end up with. My current mods after supercharger install are...Magnaflow Magnapacks with after cat fabricated true x-pipe from Magnaflow...everything else will be stock on the car except for the supercharger and all of Kennebell's complete kit with intercooler.

I'll keep you posted with my results...:)

guys and gals, the best thing you can do is just ignore any comments 1fastz makes. He has been banned from other forums for his "attitude" of a self-proclaimed know-it-all.

Like I stated, just ignore what he posts and these threads will just go along fine and dandy. :)

i have been banned from ONE forum in my life and it was not because i don't know what im talking about ..
it was because i post a true and honest post wich did not shed a favorable light on one of the boards advertisers.

and because one of the members of the board who is a admin doesnt like me from other boards because i called him out on not knowing what he is talking about when it comes to 05-06 msutangs.

as seen in this qoute by a mod from the forum you speak off

"Yeah, although I really think he got banned more because so because many of the users on there dislike him from the Corral and SVT. However I have no idea why he got banned, I am just guessing on that one due to the reported post I saw on his last posting and their attacks on him since the day he signed on"

since the day i signed on that board that certain member had made profane atacks against me curseing at me etc i had NEVER said one rude thing or made any false posts.

and it was on that forum where one of the moderaters actualy KNOWS ME from the turbomustangs boards and himself posted on them that its BS that i was banned

i was banned because i stated TRUTHFULLY that the tune that comes with the saleen pd blowers is dangerous being that it is in the mid 13-1 air fuel ratio on a blown car.
So the saleen engineer said he was going to leave the board cuase i posted that so the kiss arse admin banned me to make him stay lol

for the facts on this check this thread
http://www.turbomustangs.com/smf/index.php?topic=59946.0
on turbo mustangs where one of the admins of that very board said himself i had done NOTHING to deserve a ban.. check out the posts by snipe565 hes a mod on the board you speak of.

hell here is a direct qoute from him refering to how stupid most the people are on it because most the people on that board are clueless with almost no real knowledge

"I honestly do not post much over there, I just help with moderating on there at this point. I am sure BS could be spoonfed to them and they would think the feeder is a god of some sort when really it is just salesmanship. Heck look at don's car, the motor got toasted because the tuner could not see the signs of problems and then he has that same guy building up his combo. But such is life on MOST internet forums"

i know more about these cars then you most likely ever will cleveland.. i do this stuff for a living and i care if people kill their cars because of stupid crap.

i personaly make 538 rwhp on my own car and have done so for over 7500 miles now without issue .. i must know something seeing how many amatures are chunking parts at the 450 rwhp range.

in short I know what im doing prety dam well here.

HI SMOKE-EM

Smoke-Em:

Oh how I love my car now...this kit in my opinion is an awsome kit...the install will probably take you all weekend both Saturday and Sunday if your doing the install yourself...but let me tell you if you follow the install directions to a "T" and follow the SCT programming to a "T" your car will be a blast to drive. It's a VERY quite system at idle and on throttle you can't hear any supercharger wine at all it's amazing, that's what I really like unless you propt the hood and show your friend's you have a supercharger under it, no one would even know you have one it's just that quite.

I haven't put up on the chassis dyno yet...I wanted to put a few break in miles on it first. If it doesn't rain on Saturday the 15th I'll probably try and run it then. The car show was awsome...their was only three of us who had the 8 PSI intercooled kit at the show...seeing the kit on the 05 installed brought a lot of attention and questions. I think this kit is going to be a popular kit for the new 05 & 06 Mustang GT's. I'll tell you Smoke-Em it sure is a lot of fun to drive and power is their whenever you mash the throttle NO LAG at any gear. Hopefully you will get yours very soon and start installing it so you to can have fun. I'll try to get some pictures and try to get an appointment to get my car on the chassis dyno...until then...:D
