Nitto 555's?

I have the TTIIs with the Nittos 275/40s up front and 315/35 DRs out back. I can tell you this the DRs are, as mentioned above, good sticky street tires. Prior to putting these tires on, I could walk a long distance with the Dunlop 8000 Sport tires in 2nd gear. I used to rev and dump the cluch and just go. I tried that with the DRs and those babies spun a little and gripped hard, pushed me tight to the seat and the car just pulled with alot less spinning. I was like Yeah. Also, I got caught in a downpour on Mother's day weekend and the tires kept me planted, but of course I was no fool and driving wildly in the rain but they felt capable - just don't push it - talking about the DRs now.:nice:

Peace

I still have my 555's up front. Those have been a great street tire.
I used to have the DR's out back, and they are really good for street driving, however didn't really net me any success at the track over regular tires.. Keep in mind that Bristol, VA is poorly prepped on open nights.

My MT Drag radials have been much more successful.. but as said above.. I wouldn't try them in the rain.
