New wheels...

Ok, well I am finally paid off for my body kit. So, it's time for new wheels. I'm going with Saleens. Now, the question is either, 18x9's all around, with 275/35/18's, or those in the front and 18x10's in the back with 295/35/18's. The only issue with that is I can't rotate tires, but oh well, it looks better. And also I was wondering if 18x10's in the back with 295/35/18's will rub at all, like the quadshocks or inner fender or anything, because I want them to fit right without doing anything to the fender or quadshocks. Maybe I would be better off just doing 18x9's all around. Thanks for the advice guys.

18x9's.. and dammit if i could find out how to post pics off my camera i would show you why..jk.. the file size of the pics is 972KB's, and its only allowing my to upload 71?? can anyone help.. anyways..any combo of chrome saleens look nice, but personally ive never seen anything looking better with saleen wheels than my setup. nice and wider in the back than the front, and fills up perfectly. :D probably the best thing ive dont to the car yet :hail2:

No not the Kenne Bell yet but the car is goin in my name when in September (yes you can do that here, some places you have to be 18). But after wheels I'm probably getting full exhaust then gears (3.73's). Then I can do whatever I want to it. Well, I've heard that 315's rub alot, and you have to flip the quadshock or get rid of it completely. I want to keep my quadshocks they way they are, so can I get 315's and not do anything to them?

18x10s WILL rub on your fenders if you're lowered and they are saleen replicas! i have first hand experience as mine got shredded (although i am lowered 1.75" in the rear. the replica's offset sits the rear rims out at least 1/2" further than authentic saleens.

its not a big problem tho. just roll up the little lip on the inside of your fenders and you'll have no other problems. they will NOT rub at all on the inner fenders or quad shocks and you'll be really happy you got the 10" wide ones over the 9" :nice:

Not true. My 18x10.5 with sportline w/o isolater does not rub

that is because your 03 cobras sit in further than saleen replicas AND you have 285's. Trust me, i've speant more time researchig this than any other thing on my car. one of my rear $310 tires was shredded until it was not driveable and the other is badly scraped up.
