Setup is

wheels 19 8.5 front, 19 9.5 rear,
tires 245-40zr19 front, 285-35zr19 rear

not lowered. lowered only by new wheels/tires installed.

Beautiful man...I'd put a small drop on it, not much. Eibach pro-kit would be ideal.

I took it on a short trip on the highway. I plan for a longer drive this weekend. So far, the ride feels great. Actually a little better than stock wheels/tires...I think. I'll know by Monday. I came across a post saying Eibach will weaken in time.(?) If needed, I might get adjustable Tokico D-spec (overkill?) and another lowering system.

I put a Eibach kit on mine...about 1.5" drop. Perfect stance for me. Any spring kit can put more wear on your shocks, but springs only weaken if made poorly. Eibach had some issues about 10 years ago, but not that I've heard of since. I just can't stand a car unless it's lowered, but to each their own.

looks good, but I agree, a small drop would be nice and loose the bra

Just like a guy. Always wanting to lose the bra.. :D

Ok. I lost the bra. It's left over from my trip to Tahoe.

I also photoshoped it to lower the car 1". How that?

Just my humble opnion, I would drive it a while before I changed anything else. That looks pretty sweet, it might be that you just leave it like it is.

To those to whom it's not obvious, the second picture above is photoshoped to make it look lower and to remove the bra.

I was thinking about driving it for a while. I finally have time to take it out extensively today to see how it handles the freeway, etc. If the ride is like airplane turbulence, I'll get new springs for it.

I actually like how it looks now. Plus I don't have to worry about speed bumps, inclines. Here's another angle.

I took a good look at the profile today and I see how it needs to be lowered. It looks like the body of the car is too bulky for the wheels at the level they are now. Lowering it will make it look more balanced and sportier.

Here's a picture of the level I'd like. Not sure what lowering amount it might need.

1. Any suggestions for the level amount as shown in picture and springs to use without causing rubbing?

2. Can I continue to use the stock shocks?

I think H&R springs might not lower enough.

Thanks all!:SNSign:
