Done deal man!!! thanks a lot for the reccomendation... i took it to him and he did an AMAZING job.

Pics are soon to come when i paint the thing! (before and after the paint obviously... don't worry)

We talked about your ride too... definitely get the typhoon intake worked on, that sounds like your bottleneck. Same thing happened to others on this board. That intake just has to be reworked a ton. Look for RC's post on it, I think he was talking about how much work has to be done on it. Also, you might look into bigger ones as well. I think the typhoon is like an Ebrock RPM in flow nums. Might need a bit more kick for those extra cubes.

yea Ken is my boy. He did my motor and I could not begin to tell you how much detail he put into it and for all the WORK he did the price he charged was a STEAL!!! Stuff that just would not fit where other shops would have told me "sorry this wont fit".....he would tell me "ill make that thing fit" and fab some bracket or something that would make it fit and look tight as H@LL! I will never take my car to anyone else. he has my buisness for life. Plus he is cool as H@LL to just talk to.

An example is the bracket he did on the overflow (it's a Canton overflow, no? ) to hold the CCRM. Sharp thinkin!

Thats bull if he is complaining about fumes he isn't doing his job, and if it is coated he needed to grind the **** off that guy must be lazy or just didn't want to do it. if I was you I wouldnt pay the guy.

+1

It's just about the first thing you get taught when learning to weld, that both surfaces should be completely clean of contaminants, and if he isin't using basic safety gear, well, he deserves to black out and bash his head on whatever he's welding...
