I just got back from SEMA in Las Vegas. It was a very good show. I took some pictures of my favorites there. It turns out that one of them was the Challenger concept car. Very nice indeed! See pictures of the Challenger and of an interesting job one 1970 Boss 302.

I also saw the "Overhaulin" restoration of another Mopar. I have included some pictures. I had to leave just before the reveal to catch a plane. All of the usual show celebs were there. Charlie and Mike formally from Boyd Coddington, Foose, and presenters Chris and AJ. Chris was very interested in the crowd and kindly gave alot of autographs.

i've always wanted to go to SEMA just to check out the cars.

SEMA is a giant car show and much more. I find that the AAPEX show that runs at the same time is more useful for those looking for parts. SEMA is mostly aftermarket stuff like tires, wheels, dress-up and performance mods. AAPEX is more bits and pieces. They are both hugh shows. There was also a small show for parts rebuilders.

Chrysler had a nice mix of new and old cars on display. Ford had a large display dominated by modified Mustangs. Ford has the show's best swag, a tee-shirt.

The Overhaulin production was very interesting and well attended. They had everything on site necessary to restore the car including a paintbooth. Foose really does apply the masking and paint for the graphics. I hear that the show will air in about a month.

There were a lot of restored and cloned classic Mustangs on display.

oh yeah, i want to see all the cool new parts too but the car always grab my interest first just to see all the cool trends and the stuff to avoid as well.

AAPEX is a stock replacement parts show, SEMA is an aftermarket modification show. They have also combined the RTDA tire and wheel element to SEMA as well as a strong audio element with its own hall.

The whole damn thing is too big to be manageable at this point. Getting around is a PITA. I usually don't see the cool live stuff as I am stuck in my booth.

I had the fortune of seeing that Challenger in person earlier this year at the Donut Derelects and Crystal Cove car shows. If the production car looks anything like the show car, they will sell millions.

I have an 04 SRT-4...hopped up neon w/2.4 turbo for the unknowing, 0-60 in 5.3 & 1/4 in 13.8...and I love it. I went on the SRT track experience and drove all the srt lineup (viper, crossfire, gran cherokee, charger, 300c, magnum, ram1500), all I can say is WOW, the packages are amazing and the musclecar war is on again! These are good times we live in....whats next, outrageous ins premiums and skyrocketing fuel prices....lol.

Mopar and SRT....Love 'em. I bought a new SRT8 Charger to replace my '03 Cobra (don't flame me, 2 kids !). This car rocks ! Also went to the SRT track experience and have to say Mopar is way ahead of EVERYBODY performance wise with the variety of fast, well mannered, bad-azz cars they offer.
