Not sure if this is a repost, but just found the Dynacorn Mustang on Ebay being sold by CJ's. Anyhow.......

Mustangs plus just listed theirs also. Same price, and must pay with a Cashier's check or money order only. I'm not sold on this thing yet.

I thought the same thing, either that or you would have seen more hand prints on it. I would be examining every last inch of that car.

Someone needs to get this and build a car from it...

If I had my project to do over I would definately buy one of those bodies, That way your not fixing anything just modifiying. Perhaps when my current project is over with I might think about going that route with the next one..

I have to admit after seeing the up close pics this body looks pretty good.....but not $15K good!

The body actually looks pretty nice. I would imagine that is the same body they had with them at Spring Carlisle. I Checked it out for a while at their both, I don't think I would give 16K for it, but if a person can aford it I don't think they would be worried about the price.

I copied this (thanks Craig), but I don't know if I would buy one. Just because it is there, and complete, does not mean that it fits, or is right! And the licensing or titling issue is another matter.

Mustang Monthly (June issue) has a spread on the Dynacorn bodies.
They say 4 projects are underway:
- Year One
- AutoWorks
- Classic Design concepts
- Gateway Classic's build for Sammy Hagar

The article says Dynacorn is looking for feedback on the fitment issues with other parts needed to complete the car.

It also says the bodies are made from modern 1006 steel and thicker gauge floorpan, radiator core, etc., convertable seatpan, dual torque boxes, 69-70 shock tower braces, 68 door hinges and trunk hinges and 20% more spot welds.

20% more spot welds??!!! Hope they prime the cowl area REAL good this time.

I'll wait till those with real deep pockets help Dynacorn recoupe their tooling costs. Then hopefully maybe the price will drop to somewhere in the more realistic $8,000 area. Now the real question is, can you purchase a 67 Coupe and transfer 95% of the parts and the VIN ?

Well bidding has ended for the item. They said in the link it was for sale locally so maybe someone came in and picked it up for the $16K. Though I did see another one on EBAY from a place that had four bodies at $15.5K.

I wish they had a coupe, I would def move my stuff into a new one if the price was right.

You may see the price fall some if they dont sell them, other than that I doubt they will get cheaper.

If I had a situation that warranted a new unibody, say, a wrecked '67-68 notch with a nice driveline, I'd consider one of those. It would have to be a labor of love, though, because I doubt too many people would want to pay $25+ for a fake fastback assembled in someone's garage. I know I wouldn't.

I don't like the '67 vents behind the doors.
