Has anyone ever put 1.7 rr on a tfs 1 cam? My motor is a 01 explorer shortblock with stage 1 cam c9 351 windsor heads ported to hell and back with 1.94 1.60 valves and have been shaved to give a 58cc combustion chamber. Also what would my compression be with these heads and stock pistons?

Unless you already have the cam and 1.7 rockers I would suggest going with a stage 2 and 1.6 rockers. People usually go with the larger rockers to maintain whatever cam they have in there. If everything is out it is generally better to stick with 1.6 rockers.

It would definitely change how your pistons look to put a TFS stage 1 cam in with 1.7 rockers. I'd venture to guess they'd look like swiss cheese the moment you turned the ignition on and hit the valves on your pistons, if you don't cut reliefs into them. The lift with 1.7 rockers would be .530/.542, which is quite a bit above the safe level of clearance with stock pistons.
