Finished up the paint last night, and took it out of the garage this morning. Some minor hand polishing and this is what I got.

Going to let the paint finish hardening a lot more before I really polish it up, and maybe wetsand.... but it looks pretty damn good the way it is if you ask me :D

let it sit about a week... an easy test, it in a spot that wont be too visible, take a piece of 600 wet or dry and give it a few strokes... if the paper comes away with little balls of paint on it, it is still too soft to sand. if the paint comes off like a powder, you are ready to give it a quick cut and a buff. looks good btw...

I'm going to keep it garaged so that it doesn't get beaten up too bad when its parked and sitting...

then again, a year later.... going over it with some sand paper and spraying another coat will be 2 days and 15 dollars....... :D

Looks great. Thank you for the suggestion on the paint gun. I think I will end up doing this to my 90. Sure beats rolling and I already have a 33gal compressor which doesn't see nearly enough use.

Congratulations!!!!! You are one of the few guys that had the balls to do this and it looks really good!!
ps: don't pay any attention to those guys who "want to see it after sitting in the sun for a year"....they just don't have what it takes. I'm betting it will look great!!!
