Buddy of mine and i just attempted to install the steeda underdrive pulleys with absolute failure. We drove a bolt right into the crankshaft and stripped them both. What was once a running 02 mustang with 17k miles is now strictly eye candy.

i had money saved and was going to order myt56 tranny tonight... it looks as if this is not going tohappen now. How muchdo you think it would cost to fix, or better yet, "upgrade" since my crankshaft is toast i might as well pay a performance shop to install a forged one. What do you guys think i should do?:bang:

putting on UDPs and striping the crank out=not so smart, automatically thinkin the crank is now shot without trying to fix it=even more so not so smart.take the car someplace and let them know what you did,im sure it can be fixed without taking the entire motor apart.

Its kool, the car is now at the performance shop, i just said *** it and payed for them to install the 5.0 camer, will be 18k after labor.... *** it.. you only live once right...

anybody want to buy slightly used 4.6 with a special "custom made" crank? its good to 3000 hp

I do not believe you but if it is true you are getting an engine that is truly a thing of beauty

I should change the title of this thread to "My friend and me killed my car." :nice:
