THE BEST WAY TO INSTALL LONGTUBES ON A 4.6

If you gotta keep the motor in the car - buy an engine/shop hoist and hold the motor in place, drop the K-member, pretty straight forward after that. I've done it countless times...with the stock stamped steel K/a-arms its a bit of a chore due to weight, but with a tubular setup like mine its cake :nice:

drop the kmember, even if you pull the motor and reinstall it after bolting them on out of the car,it wont go in with both of them on if you have a stock kmember,at least thats what i have experience.i got a tubular one and put the motor trans and headers in all at once with ease, tubular k-best investment ever.worth every penny

Except when you get in an accident and your insurance companies sees the tubular K you get $0 from them :nice:
