Help build Mustang parts Search

It would be really cool to add mechanics and body shops to the list as selecting a good one is nearly impossible due to their very limited net exposure. There are countless posts on these forums from people seeking recommendations for good local professionals.

I agree with many in this thread - A star rating system similar to Amazon.com and Newegg.com is the best, most thorough, way to do this.
Think Big - This could have a major impact on Stangnet's hit stats, or not and it's another nice Stangnet feature. :nice:

**___ NAPA : The few parts that they do offer to the classic aftermarket community often have quality and compatibility issues.

I give mad props to the following: Jegs, Anderson Ford Motorsport , Dynamic Racing Transmissions , UPR , Strange Engineering , Laurel Mountain Mustang , 5.0 Resto , Aeromotive , Ron Francis Wire Works , BB&T , S&W Racecars , just to name a few that have treated me like Gold over the years. If you want the bad don't ever deal with GER transmissions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have used the following without any negitive experiance.

www.dynotune.com

For my fuel PSI gauge, nitrous switch panel, nitrous jet, fuel rail adapter.

www.lethalperformance.com

For my BMR rear swaybar relocation kit

www.brothersperformance.com

For my RAM clutch kit

All of these companies provided quick delivery and zero problems.

I have also done bussiness with "RPM Outlet" several times in the past and I have had good experiances. I did deal with one very rude person on the phone at "RPM Outlet" and that was enough to cause me to believe the negative comments I have read about them. I honestly feel that one bad employee could be causing their bad rep.

That being said,
I have purchased the following from www.RPMOutlet.com

1st order:

C&L street CAI
Diablo Preditor
UD pullies
Pipes off road-x (which I hate the sound off)
AEM wide band

2nd order: (when the guy I order from was rude)

Hurst shifter

I still ordered the shifter and it was at my house in 2 days.

As a suggestion if you are going to have a list of good suppliers, then could you also have a seperate list of bad suppliers that people will know to avoid.

Stangsuspension has provided me with terrific customer service and prices. I bought a cobra brake upgrade for a good price.

www.bieberfever.com has amazing customer service. I bought an entire drive line through them and they carry a whole ton of stuff. The prices were good, but what blew me away was the customer service.

Summit Racing has always been there for me in a pinch and carry a crap ton of stuff we all use. Great tech support too.

50resto has good prices, good service, good experiences.

cjponyparts.com CJ Pony Parts- Ive ordered tons of parts from them, both performance and restoration. Ive had one wrong part shipped, but thats where they make the grade, they are right on top of any errors and will ship out next day, and pickup the wrong part no charge (happend to me once...5 lug wheels instead of 4lug). Their stampede club is worth it as well, an annual fee for 5-10% off everything in their catalog. On projects, thats alot of savings.

Of course , summit racing is very competitive also, but as far as mustang parts only, my vote is cj pony parts!

+1 on CJ's as a plus if you are in pa or close enough to actually drive there, they have a nice new larger warhouse, freeing up more space for thier shop. They install what they sell(like I said if you are close enough to drive there) and also offer a full service restoration shop. For the last 3-4 years they have aslo hosted an annual Customer appreciation day "Show" with huge sales and tours. This year there were almost 400 of us at the show.

i want to buy a performance engine for my 04 roush ... but unsure what or where to buy from... i need help. i wanna buy a cobra or mach 1 03-04 engine and just go from there but if anyone has any other ideas or experience in swaping engines for an 03-04 stang im def. open minded.

Marcello is what the business is all about. He uses the highest quality materials and will not sell anything he does not put on his own car. He will run a test run 100 times if he has to make sure the product comes out perfect. His parts always fit as well as OEM products (and usually better) and he stands behind his products 110%. Not only that, but he's an active member of the Mustang community, and always answers my emails within an hour during normal business hours.

Brenspeed - http://www.brenspeed.com/

I had some trouble with another respected mail order tuner. He just couldn't seem to get the tunes right. But Brent dialed them in the first time. He always makes revisions quickly. His free shipping times are ridiculous. I ordered a Pypes Off Road H Pipe on Thursday around 11AM and it arrived Friday (The next day) at 1PM.
