Since installing the cobra intake and am not going to be using this hose going to the coolant rail....can I pull the hose off and cap the port with like a vacuum style rubber blank off cap or do I need something a little more heavy duty with a hose clamp with it?

I took a 2-inch piece of hose, stuck a bolt in one end and then clamped the bolt to the hose and the hose to the rail.

BTW, make sure you check your car for oil consumption using that Chinese intake, especially after driving an hour or so on the freeway.

I would cut the stub as short as possible and then have a rad shop braize the stub closed. It shouldn't even cost $10 to have it done. Don't forget to remove the fitting in the back of the manifold and put a plug in it if you haven't already done so.
