Guides on here say you can do it without an impact wrench. You can't. I tried everything from a big bar and a wrench to cutting the nut off. Either way you need the impact wrench.
It took me 5 trips to different stores to find an affordable electric impact wrench. Made life much easier.
FYI very important. Tokico HP struts have a nut that is bigger than stock struts. You need a special size not usually found on kits.
This install was stupid hard because of the impact wrench.
