Does my 02 GT torque converter have a drain plug?????

A lot of us are probably thinking if that job can be even done, especially yourself. The fact is that it can.
There is actually a nut on the Torque Converter - a 1/8-27 dryseal converter drain plug.

Question is - Do you have to remove the Torque Converter from the car?
No, you can do it with the torque converter in the car. When you look underneath the car, there is a rubber grommet on the bottom of the torque converter housing, that pops right off (doesn't seal or anything just keeps debris out of there). Take it out and you will be able to see the TC. Then rotate your TC until you have access to the NUT. That's all.
