Worst Service ever at Livernois Motorsports

I've heard quite a few bad things about them over the years.
I live locally, and would never take may car there. One more opinion I guess.

what diff does it make on condition its in, isn't that the point of being mechanics is to fix something to make it better. as long as it don't have dead animals in it or tress growing from it ill work on it. and btw these are mustangs not Ferrari's so don't get your heads up your asses cause those mechanics would say the same thing about your "nice mustangs".

It's quite comical actually that people post comments and tell me how busted my car is, truth of the matter is i get compliments on my car all the time, but you wouldn't know that because someone took pictures of my car when it needs to just basically needs to be detailed, my engine bay needs to be steam cleaned, my inside cleaned, and a new seat cover, and a car wash...so sue me, i live in michigan!!! land of snow, sleet, and salt....plus like i said the condition of my car cosmetically has absolutely nothing to do with customer service

I believe the pictures were posted to elaborate on the level wear present on the car itself and the type of “upkeep” it seems to be receiving. Whether you consider it in need of nothing more than a little spit and polish here and there, a picture is worth a thousand words. It has 180K of what looks like hard miles on the clock and considering the shape of the body, paint, underhood and interior it shows every bit of it.

Normally, I would question the posting of the pictures myself, but considering you took the first step in publicly berating and methodically picking apart the company, I think it only fair they be allowed to “paint his own picture” (so to speak) by defending their stance and showing everyone here exactly what it was they were working with.

The truth of the matter is, that an old car, with a lot of year round hard miles and so-so maintenance isn’t going to be as easy to work on as a clean, well maintained low mileage one. Problems arise, parts wear out and sometimes it takes a little more time than normal to straiten things out.

Where in one light I can understand your frustration and I sympathies, on the other hand I am completely able to see things from the Livernois perspective as well. Live, learn and move on.
