I want to run 17x8 bullitts in the front with 245's and 17x9's in the rear with 275's so I can get the staggered look. I know alot of people run 17x9's and 17x10.5 with 315's but I do not like my choices of 315 tires and I am on a budget and I do not want to run the 9's cause my mustang is my everyday driver I do not want to deal with my car tracking all over the place. If I do the setup I am talking about I may run spacers in the future, so what do guys think about it? do you think it will look good? anyone on here ever do this? or should I just go with all 17x8's and be able to rotate? pics help alot. heres the wheels I want to get

What type of wheels do you have now?

Unless you're running deep dish rims, only the tires will create a staggered look. In other words, you could run 17x9 both up front and out back and still run 245's/275's.

I have the stock 17x8 5-star GT rims all around but I'm running 245's up front and 275's out back. No need to get different sized rims and spend more money than you need to spend.

I have the stock 5 spoke gt rims and I do not like them, I love the oldschool look of bullitts so thats why I am going with them. I do not want to get all 17x9 cause I do not like the look of a 245 on a 17x9 rim, if I do not go with the setup i was talking about i will just go with 17x8's all around but I am just having hard time deciding

Oh ok. Now I'm getting a better idea of what you're talking about. Do you not like the DD Bullitts?

In any case, just get the 17x8 for the fronts and 17ux9's for the rear. Sounds like a plan to me

I like the DD Bullits. Too bad the size I wanted to put on the back was on back order. So I went with a different type wheel, more like the Cobra-R
look in chrome. These look good too, and much better than what was on
the car when I got it. I think you will be happy with the Bullits.

so you guys think this will be a good setup? I am just a little concerned about not being able to rotate and if it will be safe to run spacers, I do like the look of the deep dish but again I do not have enough $$ to get good tires and I do not want run 17x9's up front I thought about getting all 17x8's and in the future get 10.5's when I can afford better tires but I have heard if you run that big of tires in the rear with 245's in the front that you will get very bad understeer. I am not sure if this is true or not. Do you guys think the 275's will be noticable with the 245's in the front?

your best bet is just to buy 2 dd wheels for the back (for under 300$ on ebay) and keep your front two. You can get 2x 315 sumitomos for 200$ and although they arent the Best tire out there they aren't bad, i run them...

17 x 8 in front with 245 nittos and 17x 9 rears with 275 nitto drag radials.

I dont know why you think you would have tracking with 17x9/275's.
I have zero tracking with mine, I can let go of the steering wheel at
highway speeds and have no pull to one side or the other, even on grooved
pavement. Just dont run cheep ass tires. Ive had both BFG g force and
my Yokahama S-drives. You can save a lot of $ when you can rotate
your tires, and they will wear evenly to the end of thier life. With staggered
tires they are stuck in the same position and the fronts will have uneven
wear at half life.
