Met the girl of my dreams today

D'aww I feel so loved... and perhaps shedded upon. Ah well, wearing PSU BLUE so we'll say that it matches. :nice:
Okay; I've heard that you guys are feeling an early wiomter this year; does this mean you're gonna be the Nittney BLUE Lions"???
:rlaugh::rlaugh::rlaugh: I kill me! :lol:

This calls for another picture. My art has vastly improved since the New England/ FFR AMOK trip.
But SD doesn't have an 'image' what do we project him as?

Hmmmmmmm.... Well, I've been working up target/varmint loads for my Remington blackpowder revolver, and hanging out with a local "gunfighter re-enactment" group from time to time; so maybe you could go that route.......

NAAAAAAAAHHH; he's way too young and good-looking.
Besides, I'd probably get some of the fringe off those fancy-shmancy welding gloves jammed up in the Remi's hammer!

Yeah, that's more like it... one of my movie heroes.
Of course, ol' Sam Elliott would have to grow a scruffy-looking goatee and move that crossdraw rig to his right hip (I'm a lefty); and I'd have to take off my glasses and wander around blind - but I'd have his "squint" down naturally that way! :nice:

Or, you could go with my Facebook profile pic:

With my grandson DJ (cowgirl tink and SVTCobra306's son); aged 6 weeks in this shot; Valentine's Day 2009
Show's my "sensitive side"! :p

Or, there's always my "Closet/Gutter persona"

Fritz and me, hangin' out in the South Wing of The Closet.

You pick one, Dee.

Cowboys, REAL cowboys, are AWESOME. If I could go back in time... and if I was a guy... ha... I would be a gunslinger.
That's one thing I did enjoy about my time in Nevada (outside of vegas) and New Mexico. The re-enactment towns were my favorite places to go.
Though my favorite gunslinger is fictional. Roland Deschain of Stephen King's Dark Tower series.
None the less, that's an image that can be done.

And despite our color, we've only lost one game and creamed the competition in the other games. :nice: Though the lion... Let me tell you, he's sneaky. There's a few pictures of me and the lion and one of them ended up on my campus's home page to my surprise.

Excellent... I have art to do.

Elliott usually played the 'reluctant gunslinger'; usually a dirt-farmer, cowhand or miner that didn't really want to shoot at people, but was forced into it by some situation and lived up to the requirement. He was also in a couple of 'Nam era war movies; more-or-less playing the same kind of character. That suits my disposition, in a way - one of the problems I've been having doing these re-enactment gigs is the memory of my Dad drilling it into me that I don't aim a weapon at somebody unless and until I knew in my heart that I had no other choices.

If some dude is coming at me or mine with deadly intent; he's no $h*t gonna meet Mr Smith and Mr. Wesson, or maybe Mr Mossberg or Mr Winchester, or perhaps even Herr Mauser...... on the other hand, when one of my friends comes charging up expecting me to pop off a blank (and I know it's a blank, 'cause I loaded the powder and no lead myself) in the general direction of over his left shoulder, I tend to "freeze up" for a second or two; which can tend to ruin the whole act.

Besides, that old guy in that second picture is just COOL!

WOW!

Andy, you showed up in your own thread for the first time in ???? I was starting to think you were staying on FB; basking in the glory of Ms Heather Rose telling everybody what a studmuffin you are!

j/k That was the coolest post I've seen over there.

Now, quite a few people will be wondering what she said; and pestering you to spill it. :rlaugh:
For the rest of the gang - it was verrrrrry coool.

I've only got two things to say and they are both for Dee.

1) How about some kind of update on how the whole visit thing went for those of us not into facebook?

2) While I always enjoy your artwork I really totally absolutley did not need the image of Fritz wearing assless chaps in my head, thanks for nothing lady!:ack:
:puke:

Pak, I'll answer for Dee.....
1) It didn't:notnice:
2) That's your punishment for asking 1).:nono:
