Upgrading Suspension

The 2300K kit (sn95+ brakes) on a fox is a real easy way to go.

*not sure if it's a bolt on all the way back to 82 or not... but one of the sites that does kits could tell ya*

The instructions are nonexistant, so use a i-net or magazine article (there are about a zillion of em out there)

You can do it in a weekend in a well equiped garage.
- rent a spring compressor from a local shop/auto parts place/etc...
- you'll need a huge (dont remember exact size) socket and torque wrench for the nut that holds the hub assy on the spindle. Was allllll I could do to get the required torque... was like 250lb-ft or something rediculous like that.

I did one side at a time (so I could look at the other for ref if needed :D ) and did the fronts in one day, and then the backs the next day.

You'll LOVE the improvement in braking.

Everybody who rides with me that doesnt have good brakes yet, swears they need to get em... (use good hawk pads or equivelant while you're at it)
