Looking for take-off brakes to upgrade my GT in SoCal, got any tips for where?

Hi Guys, I'm looking for take-off brakes to upgrade my GT (Saleen, GT500 or other) and have been watching Ebay, CL and all the forum classifieds. No luck yet. Thinking of now talking to SoCal shops that upgrade GT500's to see if any of them have the OE brake take-offs looking for a new home.

If you hear of anyone in SoCal looking to sell GT500 take-offs or Saleen brakes, please let me know. Or if you have some other ideas, would be happy to hear them.

Btw, I've already got a rotor and pad upgrade, so it's time to get a little more stopping power.

If you can become "friends" with the guys over at GaS (Galpin Auto Sports) you might at least get them to set aside a set when they get some in and call you.

I also suggest Agent 47s brake coolers if you want to make an upgraded stock system really perform. With the coolers my rotors/lines upgrade only system stops reliably again and again out at the track (with track pads of course).

At least at my regular stomping grounds at ACS I've not needed larger brakes. But I also am only running 300hp, not 500+. That's why I know if I ever upgrade my power, I'm going to have to hit the brakes too..which also means larger wheels....ugh....money.

If your looking to upgrade your brakes i know bamachips is selling a used kit for about half price and to me it looks pretty nice.
